Ingredients
- 200g of flat rice noodles
- 1 cup of broccoli florets
- 1 cup of sliced mushrooms
- 2 cloves of garlic, finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil
- 1 tablespoon of soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon of chili sauce
- 1 teaspoon of white pepper
- Salt to taste
- Sesame seeds and sliced scallions for garnish
Method of Preparation
- Start off by boiling the rice noodles as per the packet instructions until they’re soft. Drain off and set them aside.
- In a skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat. Once hot, add the finely chopped garlic and saute it until it turns golden brown.
- Add in the sliced mushrooms and broccoli florets to the skillet and cook them for about 5-7 minutes until they’re slightly tender but not mushy.
- Pour in the soy sauce, chili sauce, white pepper, and salt. Mix well, and let the sauces blend in for a couple of minutes.
- Finally, toss in the boiled noodles, stir well to ensure that the noodles are well-coated with the sauce and veggies. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes and your spicy mushroom and broccoli noodles are ready to serve!
- Garnish with sesame seeds and sliced scallions before serving. Enjoy it hot!
