A Touch of Sweet Luxury: Chocolate Chess Pie

Indulge in the rich, creamy decadence of our Chocolate Chess Pie. A classic Southern dessert, this pie fills your palate with its sugary, buttery goodness, mostly filled with a chocolately twist.

As you take a bite, the perfect balance of sweetness, richness and lusciousness of chocolate will transport you to a world of pure culinary delight.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups of granulated sugar
  • 5 tablespoons of unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 tablespoons of all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/2 cup of melted butter
  • 1/4 cup of evaporated milk
  • 1/4 cup of buttermilk
  • 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 partially baked 9-inch pie shell

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the sugar, cocoa powder, flour, and salt. Mix thoroughly to get rid of any clumps.
  2. Add the melted butter to the mixture. Then add the evaporated milk, buttermilk, and vanilla extract. Mix well.
  3. Beat the eggs until they are light and frothy. Gradually, add them to the chocolate mixture, stirring constantly.
  4. Pour the mixture into the partially baked pie shell.
  5. Bake at 325 degrees for about 45-55 minutes, or until the center is set.
  6. Allow the pie to cool completely before serving. This allows it to set properly and makes slicing it easier.

Simple, right? Now all that’s left is to dig in and savor every bite. Reward yourself with our decadent Chocolate Chess Pie, and let its rich, chocolatey goodness make your day even better!
